Graduated from the Department of Drama and Literature at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and Visual language of Performance at Wimbledon College of Art, University of Arts London, Dora Yuemin Cheng is a translingual theatre maker and playwright. Writing within the fissures between Chinese, German, and English, she explores how mothers, mother tongues, bodies, and historical silences can regenerate female and fluid subjectivities on stage.
She works and lives in Berlin and her home town, Nanjing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
