In a dark space, the phone speaks a monologue. The floor is soiled by the robot vacuum. The phone murmurs to an unknown object. A small light is awakened by the music played by the speaker. In the darkened space, the audience feels a hyper-sensitive artificial intelligence system. 1004 is an environmental theater performance, a dream world performed by the audience and the machine; 1004 shows the transformation of post-modern urban life into a machine jungle.
